Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is a charming retreat situated amidst acres of natural forestland and around 15 miles away from Orlando International Airport.
Guests can visit the nearby Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Parks using ferries and buses that provide transportation to all Walt Disney World Resort areas.
For those who love horses, there is the Tri-Circle-D Ranch & Farm, offering horseback and pony rides, horse-drawn carriage rides, and a farm with friendly animals.
Visitors can also rent bikes, electric carts, or jog through the nature trails to enjoy the picturesque scenery.
Bay Lake Beach offers opportunities to catch some sun or rent a kayak or motorized boat. There are two outdoor pools to cool off in, and children can have fun at the four playgrounds and two video arcades.
Tennis courts are available on-site, but equipment is not provided.
In the evening, guests can join in on a campfire sing-along with Chip ‘n Dale and watch a classic Disney film outdoors.
